Meet our beautiful customer Leah and her husband James.  She was an absolute delight and we were incredibly blessed to have worked closely with her and her bridal party leading up to her special day.

Leah and James’ romance began 3 years prior, having met at their attending church.  It developed into a true love story.  “He proposed by the water at Woolwich.  He was very nervous, and I had already guessed what was going down because he had attempted to do his hair.  After he proposed we walked around the corner and there was a candle lit dinner set up for the two of us by the water.  We were both too nervous to eat anything.”

 

 

They wanted a classic wedding with references to “weddings of the past”.  They went with the hues of pale pink, blues, and white.  “My inspirations were Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Kate Middleton” says Leah.

Leah wore an elegant tea-length Glam Couture gown made from a gorgeous French lace bodice and tulle skirt.  She had sweet lace sleeves with beautiful silk covered buttons down the back.  Delicately accessories with a pearl necklace, earrings, bracelet and a stunning head piece while finished off to perfection with classic peep-toe platforms.

Her bridesmaids were also dresses in Glam Couture wearing gorgeous pale pink silk dupion cocktail dresses.  Each bodice designed individually by each bridesmaid adding their own personalities.

They went on to enjoy a gorgeous and picturesque honeymoon in Thailand.  “Our highlights were enjoying $6 massages and feeding the elephants”.  Thailand is such a stunning location to relax and enjoy the surrounds.  After working so hard for so long, planning a wedding, a honeymoon is the perfect tradition to end on.

Leah discovered Glam Couture through a friend’s recommendation who also had been a customer.  She had her gown and bridesmaid’s dresses handcrafted by Christyn.

“I am so happy I worked with Christyn.  I could make the dress of my dreams using elements from other dresses I adored and put them into one that I loved and which spoke to my personality.  I wanted a dress that alluded to the romantic times of the past, but found it difficult to find the perfect dress in stores.  This gave me the opportunity to be creative and choose every element myself.  I had a vision, but I’m not a dress maker!  Christyn could show me different options for different elements and help me make decisions.  I loved that I could choose my own fabrics after she’d go sourcing options based on what I had described.  I was so happy I have already recommended Glam  Couture to all my friends!”
